Visiting Budapest
September is still very warm in Hungary. You can expect temperatures around 25° with little to no rain.
Our event is taking place indoors with air conditioning, only some photographs after the ceremony might be taken outside for a brief moment.
We have put together some recommendations on our travel page, please take a look!
Venue and Ceremony
The ceremony and reception are taking place in the same venue; at Parisi Udvar.
We would recommend using Google Maps to find the best route to the venue. You can also find more information on our travel page.
The dress code is formal (business formal, cocktail, optional black tie). The whole event will be indoors in a fully air-conditioned venue.
Whilst we would love for you to capture moments from our special day, we would kindly request that you refrain from taking videos/pictures during the ceremony.
If you would like some photos from the ceremony, we would be happy to share our professional photographs with you after the event.
There will be a lot of dancing when we party, be sure to bring comfortable shoes!
Thank you for thinking about bringing us a gift. There will be a gift table set up for the envelopes after the ceremony.
Yes, there is a cloakroom at the venue where you can leave your coat or bag.
Hungarian culture is full of wonderful wedding traditions. One of them is called the “Bridal Dance”, when every guest lines up to dance with the bride. Once this is done the couple goes away to change clothes, symbolising the start of their new life as no longer bride and groom but husband and wife.
To make the couple’s day as carefree as possible it’s a tradition in Hungary to have a host for the wedding. Misi (our host) will be responsible for giving all the guests any important information, leading everybody to the right location and keeping the energy levels high.
Food, Drink and Party
Food will be served after our ceremony and will be a four course meal served at the table, with dietary options available if needed (please let us know when you RSVP).
There will be an open bar available after the ceremony and will provide alcoholic and soft drinks until our event closes.
We are covering the cost of drinks throughout the evening! The bar will open shortly after the ceremony and will stay open until the end of the event.
However, we would like to ask all guests to refrain from bringing their own food or drinks to the venue.
We would like to kindly ask everyone to not request songs from our DJ on the day.
I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?
Please just send Eva or Alan a message!
